Holy ShnikesT-Cats Tied for 11th Place!!!
Yesterday I got the call. Turns out the scores were in and the Cats did take three games last week!!! This puts the Cats into 11th place with three other squads. "Our main goal is to crack the top ten...and get laid," said R. Base, team fashion guru. Not a particularly easy task with some quality teams and brutally unattracktive women at the lanes.
This week started off like any other week, with the T Cats sucking significantly in the first game. SMurphDogg said "at one point during the 5th frame I nearly swallowed my tongue...we were that bad." This reporter for one, has no idea what he is talking about.
The second was an entirely different kind of flying alltogether (bonus points if you know the movie). Adomo aka Sir Pees a Lot, took home MVP honors for a wonderful series and also for popping the proverbial cherry, with the teams 1st 200+ game this season. Adomo's thoughts "it turns out I may be the best bowler in the universe." Bold statement, as we have yet to explore the entire universe for talented bowlers.
The third was all smurphdogg, ripping a 210, as we beat our opponent, The Big Easy , by 80 + pins. TC, the captain of Big Easy thanked us for the ass kicking (true story), and returned to his shanty with his tail between his legs. This may have also been because he was wearing a pink shirt that said "Don't laugh this is your girlfriends shirt."
A side note, the foot fault buzzers were on for some reason tonight, however do to lack of physical body control and alcohol consumption, the two squads decide not to obey law 1018 A of the USBF bylaws (it is quite possible I made that up).
Do to finals, the Cats were unable to visit Bernies after the game, but made plans to make Melania's (Adomo's special lady friend) b-day shindig Sat. night a joint party with the T Cats, we are now in 11th place party. I am sure she will be psyched. Our main concern is fitting the two party titles on the same banner. It will look something like this...Happy B day Melania oh and congrats on 11th place T-cats, with recent impressive showings.

Anyway, as I read this morning's New York Times and the headline on the sports page screamed, "HOLY SHNIKES: T-CATS TIED FOR 11th PLACE" I immediately wired my banker and took out some funds to get the team some new jersey's (yuk, yuk) - we had some problems Scotch Guarding the one for Joey (they had to Scotch Guard the interior of his shirt for some reason!!).
