The Promise Land
This past weekend, I went on a camping trip at Promise Land State Pare in PA, with six close friends. We had a wonderful time despite the latrine location and the frigid temperatures.
Smurphy and I went fishing. He got a bite, and caught a tree, while I thought I had a big one, which turned out to be the bottom of the lake. But you should of seen that SOB fight me.
Next we cooked up some BBQ chicken and ate some potato and pasta salad while watching an incredible sun set. At one point, the skyline became a light purple, with leaves turning on the hills in the background and a nearly full moon reflecting on the lake.
Then we played some card games, and a heated scatagories game. This was followed by some rather weak ghost stories, and a strange blue glowing object, which was much more fascinating than it should have been, due to Cabo Wabo intake.
Overall, it was a blast to spend an evening of nature with friends.
