Cats Destroy(*-see article for details) the Big Easy

Stratford, New Joisy,

Confidence was high entering Wednesday nights contest, as the Cats took two of three the last week. Hungry for a sweep, the cats came out firing on all cylinders.

Joey Budafuco finally broke the 200 mark (and just a shade under a decade). R. Base the one who knows about things- had a real funky concept, picking up the 7-9-10 split.

Game two began on a bizarre note, as old guy who refused to smile, quit, leaving only one bowler on big easy (two did not show up). *** So, virtually by default the Cats cleaned house winning the next two games by 100 plus pins. However, it should be noted that the T Cats proceeded to kill their averages and bowl their best series as a team, so it would not have mattered who they were playing. DP sported the high game of the night, a 226 which seems to be a pattern for the Beast, who is now the sole owner of the highest average on the squad with 153 pins, followed by S murph and E Unit with 151 and Base with 146 and climbing.

Smurph had this to say about the event... "In honor of our fallen Irishmen this past Friday, we wanted to come out and do something special tonight... And we did... Bowling." Not really certain what he is talking about, but it sounds prominent.

Oh, it should also be noted that through 19 frames DP was in the running for the 1800 dollar strike pot. Good times.

With the sweep the Cats are three games closer to the Hamiltons Baby!!!

Happy Spring!!!

Spring is nature's way of saying, "Let's party!" ~Robin Williams

Today is the first day of spring. The day of new beginnings. I have not blogged lately due to midterms, family visiting and a recent engagement. So here is a brief recap of the last weekish or so.

My Dad and Uncle Fuco came to visit from the far off land of polygamous and honey. We had a delightful time checking out Philly, and fixing up my house, which has made some serious progress. Huge thanks to them for giving up their time and energy to teach a home improvement dunce how to... Well, home improve. Can't tell them how much it meant to me.

Our days revolved primarily around food, shocker. Went to Carman's for brunch and did a side be side comparison from Geno's and Pat's on Passyunk ave. We also had a fun Dirty Frank's experience and checked out the cool, but creepy Body World exhibit.

Big news is I am now engaged!!! Yes, to be married. We are currently planning on June 30th in on the beach in Ocean City, NJ. My lovely fiance and I are excited and are attempting to keep in a small gathering.

Other than that it is back to the grind, but life is good. Oh yeah, Cats took 2 of 3 this past week, behind my best performance in... well, ever.

Cats back on point

Thunderdome, Stratford, NJ

What a night for bowling. They were matched up against the Ackerman family (very nice folks I must say). The Ackermans cam out unconscious rolling 40 and 50 pins above their average. While the cats rolled all above their average, it was not enough.

No matter, the cats got it crackin in the second and third, brining the Ackermans' to their knees.
DP (despite a high ankle sprain) and Smurph led the team to victory.

Cats secure second with their eye on the prize. Oh yea, DP got very excited about the progressive strike pot, and has already spent the 1800 beans.

Gelatin

I just got an email from the Comish. No Gelatin. My pain is real, but I will prevail.

Hmmmmm

Have not posted in a while...Guess I haven't felt particularly inspired by anything. Work is there, everyday. Midterms are upon me and I have been busy. I am looking forward to my Dad and Uncle visiting in a little over a week. Other than that I have the national jello eating championships the end of march, and a concert to go to this weekend... Good times, but not inspired times. I am thinking of doing recycle art. Will keep you posted. Oh, yeah cats dropped two of three last week. I sucked, second week in a row. I am not superstitious, but a black cat did cross in front of my car on the way to the ally last week. Three of three tonight though.
